Oversoul is a forbidden technique developed by Mores Gwydion over 35 years of study, allowing the transfer of one’s soul into another living body. It is the method by which Mores has kept himself alive for over a century.
Mechanics
- Requires the host to be alive at time of transfer.
- Every three years, the host body begins crystallizing from Soul Dissonance — the host’s aether fighting the foreign soul, destabilizing aetherial balance. This creates what is publicly known as Blackram Disease.
- Hosts die from the disease if Mores does not transfer in time.
- Mores attempted to Oversoul into Luvsan but was rejected by Luvsan’s rage — leaving Luvsan as a cursed shade sustained by a single drive.
