Gerel Kha is a mage based in Ul’dah. Pragmatic and honest, she was the first person in Hydaelyn to correctly identify what was wrong with Zekito. She diagnosed the aetherial disturbance caused by his soul dissonance when his condition was worsening, and gave him the harder truth: he had been fighting like he was still in Erinn. He was not anymore.

Gerel directed Zekito to two sources of help: a magitek engineer who built him stabilizing armour to manage the dissonance physically, and the Lunar Rose Adventuring Academy, where he could find longer-term treatment and support. Without her intervention, his deterioration would have continued unchecked.
